Solid Design 110: Basic Solid Design

| Who should attend: New users of Sold Design along with potential users. | ||
| Purpose: Provide the student with a working knowledge of how to install the Solid Design program and catalog disks, how to lay out a job, present, and bid it. | ||
| Curriculum: Solid Design 110 introduces the new Solid Design user to all of the features now included in Solid Design, such as Options and The Bid Center. Instruction will include how to place walls, cabinets, countertops and moldings, how to design with stock catalogs, how to take a job to drawing, and how to price a job. The day-long session will consist of no more than 10 shops, so that each student may receive individual attention during the class. This course will not cover the Custom Cabinet Editor or customizing pricing in the Bid Center. These topics will be addressed in the Advanced Solid Design training course at a later date. | ||
| After Completing Solid Design 110: The successful student will be able to apply the knowledge he has acquired to complete the installation, layout, presentation, and bidding of a job using catalogs in Solid Design. | ||
