| Who should attend: Users of Solid Manufacturing and Solid Pro | ||
| Purpose: Provide the student with an understanding of the methods, tools, uses and purposes of Orthographic Editing and programming logic into parts and assemblies. | ||
| Curriculum: SOLID 301 introduces advanced editing techniques through use of the orthographic views. Unique parts will be added and programmed to respond to changes in the object they are incorporated into. Writing advanced User Created Standards, including some elements of editing the code of the standard. The Intelli-Joint feature will be covered, including the methods of incorporating the Intelli-Joint into UCS. This is essential for adding operations to cabinet parts in preparation for CNC output. CNC setup and configuration as it related to the Solid program is also part of this class. | ||
| After Completing Solid Design 301: The successful user should be capable of advanced editing, with parametric programming, including adding CNC operations to parts. Successful students will be capable of implementing Solid in a CNC shop, including programming parameters unique to their shop. | ||
