Solid 201: Advanced Editing I

| Who should attend: Users of Solid, Solid Manufacturing and Solid Professional. (Solid Design users will benefit more from the Design classes.) | ||
| Purpose: Provide the student with an understanding of advanced cabinet editing features. These features are helpful in creating special objects for applications such as fixtures, furniture, etc.. | ||
| Curriculum: SOLID 201 continues the editing principles of SOLID 102, adding complex editing through the orthographic views. Students will understand and identify overrides, learn to add new parts, and be able to program logic to those parts. Students will use the modular concept of job creation using sub assemblies. We will also cover the operations of the Optimizing tools within Solid. | ||
| After Completing Solid Design 201: The successful student will be able to employ the knowledge he has acquired to create more than simple cabinet objects. He/she will learn to create complex objects and casework within Solid. They will have a complete understanding of how to optimize jobs for saving labor and materials. | ||
