Cabinet Vision, Inc. (USA) and Planit Holdings plc (London, England) have united to form the largest software entity in the world for cabinet design and casegood manufacturing. The acquisition, terms of which were not disclosed, was completed in mid-December and gives the combined group more than 35,000 customers in over 30 countries.

This new partnership will offer worldwide distribution and support for Cabinet Vision's award winning design and manufacturing software products. According to Trevor Semadeni, CEO of Planit Holdings, "Cabinet Vision will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Planit Holdings and continue exclusive development and distribution of their products. The exception will be here in Europe where we have a well-established distribution network already in place. We're very excited to bring this wonderful technology to the European market."

Cabinet Vision, Inc., originally founded in 1983, is a leading supplier of computer software and technology aimed at the design and manufacturing of custom cabinetry, architectural casework, commercial fixtures and other industry related products. Company founder, Larry Cornwell, and CEO Roger Taylor will continue to run the day to day operations of the company.
