Updated Graphical User Interface
An updated Graphical User Interface (GUI) modelled on Windows XPTM is incorporated into all alphamachinist modules, providing a new, Windows-compliant look and feel to the working environment. Users have total control over their screen layout, with all-new, multiple view ports, configurable schemes and views - and even auto hide viewing widows and tabs. All in all, a fresh looking, practical and productive interface with attractive appeal.
Further key features include
- Unlimited number of ‘view ports’ in standard configuration, as well as user-named views. Screen configurations can be saved and restored as required.
- Fully rendered isometric views. Solids, surfaces, clamps and fixtures, tools and tool holders can all be displayed as rendered solid images or as wire frame objects.
- Show Solids as a wire-frame option. This is ideal when using manual or semi-automatic feature determination.
- User layers are automatically assigned with sub layers for geometry, construction, splines, surfaces and text, to enable easier handling of large or complex parts.
